Travel Information
To help participants plan their stay, this page provides practical information on the conference venue, accommodation, local transport, airport connections, and internet access. Participants are encouraged to book accommodation early, as late August is still a busy period in Rome.

The Aula Magna is located inside Sapienza's main campus, a short distance from Roma Termini railway station.
Where to stay
The most convenient areas are San Lorenzo , Termini / Castro Pretorio , Nomentano / Piazza Bologna , and the streets around Policlinico . San Lorenzo is closest to the campus and has many restaurants and cafés. The Termini and Castro Pretorio areas are especially convenient for airport and railway connections.

Travelling to Rome
From Fiumicino Airport (FCO)
The simplest public-transport connection is the Leonardo Express , a direct train between Fiumicino Airport and Roma Termini. Regional trains also connect the airport with other stations in Rome. From Roma Termini, the Sapienza campus can be reached on foot, by bus, or by taxi.
From Ciampino Airport (CIA)
Ciampino Airport is connected to Roma Termini by several shuttle-bus services. It is also possible to travel by local bus to Ciampino railway station or to the metro network, and then continue toward the city centre.
From Roma Termini to Sapienza
The main entrance of Sapienza is approximately a 15–20 minute walk from Roma Termini. Local buses and taxis are also available. For current routes and service updates, consult the official Rome public-transport website or a live journey-planning application.
Internet access
Eduroam is available on the Sapienza campus and in the Physics Department. Participants whose home institution provides Eduroam should configure and test it before travelling.
Participants without an Eduroam account should contact the conference organizers sufficiently in advance so that alternative access arrangements can be investigated. Please do not wait until arrival, as temporary credentials may require advance preparation.
Additional practical information
Many cafés, pizzerias, and restaurants are available in San Lorenzo and in the streets surrounding the university.
Hotel prices, availability, transport routes, and timetables may change. Participants should verify all details directly with the relevant hotel or transport provider before booking.
